Designs Unlimited is a full-service interior design firm specializing in both residential and small commercial and professional office projects. Owned and operated for 18 years by Cathy Harper, Allied Member ASID, our goal is to build a lasting relationship with our clients. In order to incorporate your dreams and lifestyles into our design projects, we believe the customer interview process is crucial. Listening to your ideas on what you want, we work with you to make your project easy, enjoyable and rewarding.

SPECIAL SERVICES

• New Construction – Beginning with the initial design and ending with you taking occupancy of your Dream Home, we are experienced and ready to assist. From participation in the design and construction planning to placement of the final picture or accessory, we can work with you for the entire project or any part of the project you desire.

• Existing Homes – From changing the look, function or feel of a single room to major renovation and expansion work, we can assist. We will work with you to evaluate your desired goals, develop plans, identify craftsmen and provide ongoing project oversight from start to finish. Or, we can help with any stage of the process. Either way, our mission is to ensure you get the results you seek, leaving you free to continue your daily activities without fear and concern.

• Furniture Placement – Sometimes all you want and need is a fresh view of everything you already have. Also known as the “furniture shuffle”, we have years of experience arranging and rearranging, adjusting your living space to meet changing lifestyles and needs. If needed, we can add that special item to bring everything together for you by drawing on our extensive lines of quality manufacturers or helping you with choices from other sources.

• Staging – This is the “furniture shuffle”, but applied for those who want to make the best presentation possible when listing their home for sale. We consult with you and your chosen realtor in making the first impression for potential buyers one to be remembered. Arrangement of furniture, pictures and accessories, reduction of clutter, refreshing existing paint or updating color schemes and repair or replacement of broken or outdated lighting and plumbing fixtures can often mean the difference between having “lookers” and finding a buyer. Of course, doing this within a reasonable budget is always a primary consideration.
